What to Expect

Visiting a new church can cause a bit of anxiety, wondering what to expect. Maybe this will help!

What to wear?

We're casual here at Redeemer. You'll see a few coats and ties, but most people are dressed casually. In fact, shorts and sandals are welcome. Just come with an expectant heart!

Where to park?

We have parking lot entrances on both Cinco Ranch Blvd. and Westheimer Pkwy. You should be able to quickly find a spot.

Where should we go first?

  • Enter into The Main (our larger building) first.
  • Please make a quick stop at the NEW HERE kiosk. We want to say hello and give you a gift!
  • Then, if you have kids, head over to our Kids Ministry Check-In to get your Preschool and Elementary Kids checked-in to our system.

What's offered during the 9:15 a.m. Sunday School?

We offer great Sunday School classes for all ages.

Our Preschool (Nursery - 5 Years Old) classes meet in the same building as our Adult Classes, The Main. Our Elementary (Kinder - 5th Grade) and our Students (Jr. - Sr. High) meet in the adjacent building, The Mill.

We strive to make all of these classes wonderfully age-appropriate and spiritually strong. You can learn more about all of these ministries in the CONNECT section of our website.

What's offered during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service?

Your Preschool children (Nursery - 5 Years Old) continue in their classrooms for additional fun and learning. They play games, do crafts, sing songs, and learn more from God's word. It's awesome!

Your Elementary kids (Kinder - 5th Grade) will join you in the Worship Service up until the sermon begins, at which time they will be dismissed to the foyer to join their teachers and head on to their class for a great time in God's word. So, after Sunday School pick up your Elementary Kids and bring them to the Worship Service. They can experience the singing, hear from our church missionaries, take Communion if appropriate, and more. Then, when the sermon begins they can join other kids their age for a great time in class.

Note: Any and all of your kids and welcome to stay with you through the entire Worship Service. If you Check In an Elementary child who joins you for the first part of the Worship Service and then decides to stay with you through the sermon, during the dismissal please walk to the foyer and let the appropriate teacher know—we don't want to think we've lost a child!

Your Students (Jr. and Sr. High) will join you in the Worship Service. Of course, many of the Jr. and Sr. High students sit together during the service, which we love!

We hope you'll find the Worship Service a blessing. We love to sing songs both old and new. And, we seek to base all of our sermons on the Scriptures. In fact, most of the time we preach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible. In the end, we want everything we do to draw attention to Jesus Christ and His great glory.

What else can you tell me?

There’s no limit to the love and power of our great God! From the youngest child to the oldest adult, Sundays at Redeemer are about exploring and taking hold of truths about God from His Word that you can take with you and put to work in your relationships, in your work, or in any circumstance you might face.

It’s no secret that life can get messy and hard sometimes. Redeemer is a place where it’s OK to bring that messiness and brokenness. The message you’ll hear is that God is good, that He is in control, and that He loves you. The best part of all is that, through Jesus Christ and the power of the Gospel, God’s love for you is so great that He can bring light and hope into the darkest of circumstances.
